SOHT hosts a small number of placement students each year in health administration, public health, communications and health informatics, usually through a partner organization.
How it works
- Your school’s placement coordinator writes to ScarboroughOHT@shn.ca with the program, the term and the learning objectives.
- We match the request with a project in the Secretariat or with a partner organization; placements are supervised by SOHT staff.
- Placements follow the host organization’s onboarding, privacy training and, where required, police record checks.
Placements are unpaid unless the program provides a stipend. Students are welcome at Collaboration Council meetings as observers.
